Basics:
Real Name: Adriana Madrigal / Project M3DU5A
Alias(es): Medusa
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Occupation: Mutant / Government Project
Orientation: Pansexual (all genders accepted)
Bio:
The US government began the "Medusa Project", just under a year before the topic of cloning reached a sensationalized level in the media. "Controversial", and "the stuff of sci-fi" were the projects top two descriptors. Yes, the project was DNA splicing - not between a human and a lab rat though - a human and a snake.
Medusa, as she is now known as to government officials, was once a beautiful young, teenaged human. She came from a low-income, close-knit family, and would do anything to help her family.
One day, after school had finished Medusa was approached by a strange man in a black car. He told her that he'd been spying on her for quite some time. The man also told her that he worked for the government, and that her family would be well taken care of if she were to be a test subject in a new experiment. She agreed.
No sooner had she done so, than she was whisked off to a secret lab, far far away. The doctors and scientists began immediately, injecting her with two doses of snake DNA daily. In the course of two weeks, her legs ad feet melded together and grew long and scaly. She also grew fangs and a venom sack. She began displaying snake behavior too, striking at rats and birds, and even larger mammals. After the experiment was labeled as a success, she was then put into a large aquarium to be forgotten.
But Medusa never forgot or forgave.
One night when her guards were distracted by their television set, Medusa escaped her habitat enclosure through an air vent she managed to loosen the cover off of. Her freedom was not easy to maintain though, and it didn't last long either. Only a few months after she escaped from the governments clutches, she caught the attention of a poacher who happened to specialize in the capturing and selling of very exotic creatures.
Ever since the poacher caught her, Medusa has acquired a bit of an aggressive edge, though that certainly hasn't stopped any potential owners from admiring her beauty via the safety of a glass cage. And despite Medusa's outward hostility towards others, part of her wants the companionship of an owner. She just hasn't seen what she's looking for yet.
